Does it need internet?

Only for the initial setup and optional software updates. Once installed, CookieAI runs completely offline on your local network. Your team connects via their browser — no special software needed.

How loud is it?

Our recommended mini PC builds are near-silent. Workstation builds produce about as much noise as a quiet desktop computer. Rack servers are designed for server rooms.

What about electricity costs?

A typical CookieAI server consumes 100–250W under load — roughly €200–500 per year in electricity. Less than a single monthly ChatGPT Team subscription for the same number of users.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. Upgrading the GPU or adding RAM is straightforward. We offer upgrade services as part of our support plans, so your AI can grow with your team.

Do I need an IT person?

No. We handle all installation and configuration. Your team accesses CookieAI through their regular web browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. No software installation on individual computers.
